GET OUT AND VOTE in the North Cowichan by-election
Advanced voting is available on April 2 and April 8, from 8 AM to 8 PM at Municipal Hall. If you miss those, the general voting day is Saturday, April 12, from 8 AM to 8 PM, with polling stations at:
– North Cowichan Municipal Hall
– Chemainus Fire Hall
– Crofton Fire Hall
– Maple Bay Fire Hall
– Cowichan Community Centre
In 2022, voter turnout for our municipal elections was shockingly low—only around 30%. We get it—municipal elections might not seem as exciting as federal or provincial ones. But here’s the thing: local politicians make the decisions that directly impact your daily life.
